"And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you." Romans 8:11, AMP

Need a supernatural jolt today? Need God's resurrection power to fill every cell, fiber, bone, nerve, tissue, muscle, organ and system of your body? Need your youth to be renewed like the eagle's? Need to be quickened?
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us. Meditate on that for about a year! He said He will also quicken our mortal bodies. It's no problem for the Lord to quicken bodies. The word "quicken" generally means: to vitalize or revitalize, to make alive and to give life. If parts of our body need to be vitalized, revitalized or made alive, let's ask the Spirit to do it! He knows the DNA codes for every cell and He has the power to give life – now and eternally!
We all know that one great day the Lord will cause our mortal bodies to put on immortality and death will be swallowed up. What a day of quickening that will be! But, in the meantime, you need a strong, healthy, vitalized, quickened mortal body to do God's will and to fulfill His purposes! If you need the Spirit's quickening power in your mortal body today, let's pray.

Say It: “Father, I thank You that the very same Spirit that raised Jesus from death lives in me. You have the power to give life to every part of my body. I thank You that You quicken the dead and You call things that be not as though they were; so today, I agree with You. I call my body quickened. I thank You that the Spirit's quickening power is working in these parts of my body: _____________.  (If you are facing a specific area of weakness, disease or sickness – call out that part of your body.) I thank You Lord that You are quickening me from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I thank You Holy Spirit for quickening my mortal body. I thank You for quickening my heart, my brain and my lungs. I thank You for Your quickening power in my circulatory, digestive, respiratory, nervous, muscular, lymphatic, reproductive, endocrine, skeletal, connective tissue and metabolic systems today! (If you have other systems that need His quickening power, ask and thank Him for it.) In Jesus' Name, Amen.”
